PA12 plastic raw material characteristics: PA12 is a linear, semi-crystalline - crystalline thermoplastic material from butadiene. Its properties are similar to PA11, but the crystal structure is different. The relative density is small, only 1.02, which is small and medium-sized in the nylon series. Low water absorption, good dimensional stability; Excellent low temperature resistance, up to -70ºC. The long-term use temperature is 80 ° C (up to 90 ° C after heat treatment), it can work for a long time at 100 ° C in oil, and it can work for a long time at 110 ° C in inert gas. PA12 is a good electrical insulator and, like other polyamides, will not be affected by moisture. It has good impact resistance mechanical and chemical stability. It's very fluid. The shrinkage rate is between 0.5% and 2%, depending on the type of material, wall thickness and other process conditions. There are many improved varieties of PA12 in terms of plasticizing and reinforcing properties. Compared with PA6 and PA66, these materials have a lower melting point and density, and have a very high moisture regain. PA12 has no resistance to strong oxidizing acids. PA12 plastic raw materials are mainly used in water meters and other commercial equipment, optical fibers, cable sleeves, mechanical cams, automobiles, sliding mechanisms and bearings. Also used: automotive fuel delivery pipe, automotive brake pipe, air conditioning pipe, air pressure equipment hose and so on.
