Main application
Application of PA6 in the automotive field
materials should have the following advantages:
1). Excellent strength and toughness to meet the mechanical properties of structural components;
2). Excellent heat resistance, can be used continuously at temperatures up to 130ºC;
3). Long-term fatigue resistance, good performance after thermal aging;
4). Excellent dimensional stability with anti-warping effect;

6). Good oil resistance and corrosion resistance.


PA6 has good comprehensive properties, low density, easy molding, large design freedom, thermal insulation, and also has obvious advantages in mold and assembly costs. PA6 not only has high tensile strength, excellent impact performance, but also has high thermal deformation temperature, heat resistance, low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication, oil resistance and chemical resistance, and is especially suitable for filling and reinforcing with glass fiber or other materials. Modification to improve material properties and grades to meet end-of-life components and customer needs. Such as front grille, heater box, radiator blade, steering column cover, tail light cover, adsorption tank, timing gear cover, fan blade, various gears, radiator water chamber, air filter shell, etc. Engine parts, electrical parts, body parts and airbags and other parts. Among them, the amount of parts under the hood of automobiles is very large. This is due to the development of miniaturization and light weight of automobiles, the reduction of the volume of the engine room and the increase of temperature, which require high temperature resistance of the parts under the hood, and PA6 can fully meet the above requirements through modification.
